The South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is dredging water channel on Jalan RA Kartini, Cilandak Barat Urban Village, Cilandak Sub-district.
It has been ongoing since yesterday and is targeted to be completed by the end of this week
Cilandak Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Yansori said the dredging is carried out to clean mud which has led to shallowness.
"The mud thickness reaches about 40 centimeters. We dredge it, thus its capacity returns to normal," he expressed, Tuesday (7/25).
Krukut River on Jalan Gang Lontar Dredged from MudHe explained it is done along approximately 100 meters.
"It has been ongoing since yesterday and is targeted to be completed by the end of this week," he explained.
Every day, he sent seven personnel to the location.
"Hopefully, it can anticipate inundation in the surrounding area," he hoped.
